Tags came in for the van. Ohio Beef and GRSTNK were approved!
Almost looks like the two beef are performing crude acts
Coming from Michigan, I had to pick up a plate base for the front end. Few buck at Autozone helped out there. Next move is to pick up these slicers from a guy south of me. Wants $100 for the set. Hard to pass on, especially when the wheel specs match stock.
May have to update the SVT badges to SHO now
I have a ton of real estate on this windowless van. Thinking of ideas to fill it up a bit, but not too much. I’m thinking two center stripes, or a quick set of side graphics. I already started my sticker collection on the back.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
My biggest headache, is almost everything I can do to the van will come from Europe. There’s a huge market for these over there, and things like a roof spoiler, low ering springs, and body kits will all cost an arm n a leg to get over here. I’ve ordered a st of Polk DB speakers, crossovers, and tweeters to help with the sound quality. Crutchfield does an amazing job at throwing in all the accessories you need for an easy install. I’ve always ordered from them; they pro vide you clear instructions, harnesses, and brackets needed. They’ll even walk you through the process over the phone if needed. I’m excited to do that. With that, I’m going to line the shell with some soundproofing material. I haven’t researched the brands or anything yet, but I will once I ge t to that stage.
Beverly the Ruckus making a cameo!
Lastly, am going to axe the giant suitcase of a muffler on this thing, and throw on a Flowmaster 40 series. For a small 4-banger, the 40 series sounds pretty good on this thing.

That's fantastic! I've always liked these transits and have been thinking about picking one up and turning it into a light duty hauler/expedition toy. They're getting pretty cheap second hand.

Nice pickup! I have had ideas to do a small pickup conversion to one of these (probably mk1 u.s. version).

Oh yeah! This ‘16 used to be a delivery van for a small business. 102,xxx miles and one owner. Took her home for $ 10k. The 2.5 in these will run forever. Theres not a huge aftermarket for these, unfortunately. Whatever I could find came from Europe, to ship a set of lowering springs to me would cost $500 out the door. $300 of that is shipping costs. The LWB cargo version like mine can hold an entire room’s worth of stuff. I know this because I packed an entire bedroom worth of stuff in it to move: queen bed, frame, two dressers, clothes, and a night stand.

Exactly. The kits for these look great, but are not cheap. If i were to do any body work, I’d add a spoiler to the rear. Whether it be one made for it, or something I can make fit.

I’ve contacted Tradevan about their spoiler previously . Their cost to ship to the states nearly doubles the price. IIRC the final cost was £260-2 80. Tough sell when the shipping is bonkers.
Kaz Tuning has two style spoilers with reasonable shipping costs.
This one is £109.00 out the door ($ 142).

This one is £165.00 out the door ($216).

The other thing that caught my eye were these lowe ring springs.
£188.00 with shipping ($246)

Don’t really have the desire for any body kits, unless they completely replace the black plastic bumpers I currently rock. O therwise, it won’t look very well slapping on a painted piece on an unpainted black bumper.

Ye’, shipping to the U.S. can be crazy.
A rear spoiler is a nice touch in itself as is lowering springs. Anything else can be done later if you wish to at all.

rhino line the painted parts and they will match.

Not an awful idea, especially living in Ohio. Form and function!

I think those wheels would look legit on it.

Being a rumenant farmer, the Ohio Beef lead me to b eleive you meant it to be “ Grass Tank”... Which would be a pretty good plate for a rancher in my opinion

It would! I’ve heard Green Stink, Great Stink, GR Stinks (must really hate Guns n Roses). I guess you must know the name to pick up on it, plus I had to sacrifice a few characters to get the Ohio Beef plate. Totally worth it

Agreed, I posted previously about finding a set of white wheels. I had my eye on some Sparco’s, but couldn’t get myself to drop $600 on em. Even considered dipping the steelies in white too. I might do that for my winter set once I get them off. $100 for a set of any wheels is a darn good deal.

IIC that’s the RS swapped TC from Europe. If only they optioned that in the states :(

It is. One off experiment constructed after hours by Ford RS employees from a Transit Connect and a first gen Focus RS. They followed it up a few years ago by sticking current generation Focus ST bits in a current generation Transit.

It’s awesome. I like the graphics too. I’m leaning more of an 80's retro theme. Pinks, light blues, yellows

I’d love something that can fit a couple bikes, gear, haul a load or wood, lumber supplies and such. Basically as a light duty truck. I'd honestly love a full size van, but that's a tougher sell practicality wise.

I looked at the full size Transit, r easonable ones ran about $30k. I haul my scooter in the back frequently, that back area can swallow a lot of gear.
